Moments

I heard this cool story a little while ago and decided to illustrate it for my boss:
A man is being chased through the jungle by hungry tigers. He cannot escape them and they are getting closer. He spots a well and jumps down it. Half-way down he gets caught on a branch growing from the side of the well. Below, dozens of poisonous snakes are waiting bite him. Above, the tigers circle, waiting to eat him. He is trapped and has no way out. Then he notices the branch has wonderful berries growing on it. He reaches out, and eats one.

And that's the whole story! It's about not worrying about the future when you have no control over it, so you need to be able to fully and completely enjoy the moment you're in, right now.

The Cupboard Under The Stairs

Re-reading the Harry Potter books inspired this experiment with mood. I won't say which part this was in case you haven't read it. :)

Speakeasy

Not a very large image, sorry. This is a digital final draft for a huge canvas painting that I'll be working on soon. I can't wait to get started!
