And again...

This is something I drew for Earth Day this year. The environment is one of my greatest passions so I felt moved to create something to spotlight a rather destructive issue. The whole movement to me feels a bit like David taking on Goliath. Seems impossible sometimes, but imagine what a spectacular story it will be if we can pull ourselves together enough to win.

One of my first forays into the world of painting, years ago. Copied from a J.W. Waterhouse painting.

A recent trip to the LA Zoo. Shockingly adorable alligators live there.
The kookaburra and wallaby were a more practical (meaning "soft" or "not rough, scratchy and full of teeth") form of cute.

Also present at the zoo are the less-cute-but-very-funny flamingos.

Back Again!

The top one here is something I drew to put on Christmas cards for my family, and the bottom is a very random idea that I drew for my sister's birthday a few weeks ago.

This Little Light of Mine

My cat gets to wear an Elizabeth collar for a bit so she won't eat her stitches. She spends a lot of time moping around, looking like a desk lamp.

The Music People

All of these drawings are a couple of years old. I started with the piano man and the rest sort of followed.

even more old drawings

this was drawn a couple of months ago, right after I saw Wicked with some friends.

this was done for family and friends Valentine's Day this year.
